The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put the former player on the wanted list "What? Where? When?”, journalist Rovshan Askerov on charges of “rehabilitation of Nazism”.

According to Russian media, a criminal case has been opened against Askerov under Part 4 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the article provides for punishment of up to five years in prison.

“The investigation established that Askerov published deliberately false information on his page on the social network Facebook, insulting and discrediting the memory of the great Russian commander and defender of the fatherland Marshal of the Soviet Union, Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov, — reported the SC on April 27.

On April 6, the ex-player posted a post on his Facebook in which he accused Marshal Zhukov of looting. After the accusation, Askerov deleted the post.

“In all my words there is neither slander nor deliberate lies. At least in “Wikipedia” this is all checked, and there is no lie, slander, and even more so the rehabilitation of Nazism. They have a sick fantasy, —said.

In addition, Askerov also spoke about showing photos of Bonnie and Clyde during the Victory parade.
