President Vladimir Zelensky looked forward to continued international sanctions policy against Russia, yet the occupants will not return to Ukrainian territory.
He stated this during a meeting with the Ministers of foreign Affairs of Sweden Margot Wallström and Poland Jacek Czaputowicz, the press service of the AP, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to PKG.
“Thank you for supporting the sanctions policy against Russia and hope that it continues — until the Ukrainian territory will not be returned completely,” said Zelensky.
He also thanked him for supporting Ukraine in the issue of release of Ukrainian prisoners.
Zelensky assured foreign partners that Ukraine will continue moving towards deeper integration with the European Union and NATO.
He said that Ukraine, in addition to the return of the territories needs to win the fight against corruption, poverty and economic stagnation.
It is noted that the foreigners confirmed the consistent support of Ukraine.
Putin commented on the possibility of meeting with Zelensky
Zelensky said that for Ukraine it is important to preserve the positive achievements of recent years and to accelerate the implementation of the Association agreement.
