The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Wednesday, may 29, 2019, has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on impeachment of the President. This was stated by the representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the removal of the President from office by impeachment should be a separate bill.
“Submitted to the Parliament a bill on the removal of the President from office — impeachment. The promise was given, made… of Such a bill as we have,” said Stefanyk.
Also the representative of the President in the Parliament has recalled the need for the adoption of the law on the abolition of immunity of MPs.
“With this draft law to the Verkhovna Rada once again directed the President to BP have not forgotten that she is a draft, which abolished parliamentary immunity. It would be honest if we’d spent together these two projects”, he added.
