Zarqa: Too early to talk about the end of the fifth wave
At the moment, it is too early to say that the fifth wave of COVID-19 cases in Israel has ended.
Such a statement on February 17 said Salman Zarqa, coordinator of the fight against coronavirus.
“It's too early to say that the fifth wave is over. The virus is still here, & ndash; he stressed.
According to Zarka, more than 20,000 new cases of the disease are registered in Israel every day. In this regard, the expert urged “to prepare for the next wave”, the onset of which is “only a matter of time”.
