On Friday, January 28, the bad weather in Israel will gain momentum, as rain is expected in most of the country, and on Mount Hermon – heavy snowfalls.

Forecasters have warned of the threat of flooding.

In the daytime, the air temperature in Jerusalem will rise to 6 degrees, in Tel Aviv – until 12.

Haifa – 12, Beersheba – 12, Lod – 11, Nazareth – 9, Ein Gedi – 17, Safed – 5, Beit Shean – 13, Tiberias – 13, Katzrin – 9, Ashdod – 12, Mitzpe Ramon – 8, Afula – 11 and Eilat – 18.

Roads leading north of the Golan Heights will be closed due to snowfall, and like Mount Hermon, which received 50 cm of snow. The authorities hope that the ski resort will be open to visitors on Saturday, but this will depend on weather conditions.

About 20-25 cm of snow fell in Jerusalem. Rain and snow are expected to stop on Saturday.
