WBC Deontay Wilder (41-0-1, 40 KO’s) and Luis Ortiz (31-1, 26 KO’s) will have a second fight.
Wilder on his page on Instagram has officially confirmed an agreement with the team of Ortiz
for a revenge.
“Wilder vs Ortiz II! To all my fans, I want to announce that Luis Ortiz and I
signed up for a rematch, date and place of which will be announced soon
time,” wrote the American champion.
Known insider Mike Coppinger announced that a rematch between Wilder
will be held on September 28. Fight between two heavyweights will take place in Las Vegas or
Wilder and Ortiz first met in March 2018. In the rival battle American
in the 10th round won a technical knockout. A few minutes before victory
Wilder almost was knocked down, but Ortiz in the seventh round failed
to finish off the champion.
