WHO: the number of infected with COVID decreased by 17%
The number of cases of coronavirus worldwide has decreased by 17% over the past week.
According to the World Health Organization.
According to the WHO, in the United States, a decrease of 50% has been observed. Mortality worldwide has decreased by 7%.
It is specified that the Omicron strain is becoming dominant in the world. Almost 97% of people are infected with it. But the Delta variant retreats – the number of people infected with it decreased by 3%.
In total, more than 19 million new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the world.
