WHO raises alarm over cholera vaccine shortage

The world stock of cholera vaccine is practically at zero. This was announced by the official representative of the World Health Organization. “All the vaccines that have been produced have already been distributed. So now we have to wait for the next batch, which is in production,” said Philippe Barbosa, Team Leader for Cholera and Epidemic Diarrheal Diseases.
