 WHO: Poor countries receive over a billion doses of vaccines

Poor countries have received more than one billion doses of vaccines as part of the global COVAX initiative.

According to the AP, this is stated in the response of the World Health Organization.
< br /> The one-billion-dose milestone was reached as a result of the last shipment of vaccine to Rwanda on 15 January, according to WHO. The country has received 1.1 million doses under the COVAX program.

In total, deliveries have been made to 144 countries to date. The WHO intends to continue in the same spirit.
