Med4Tech members met with the healthcare world at Soroka University Medical Center as part of the new 8400 network program and in collaboration with HIT, which brings together technology leaders from the world of high technology and the world of medicine. Magpie.

As part of the first round of the program, the Department of Internal Medicine in Soroka hosted engineers from various companies, including: Microsoft, Google and Teva. The teams met with Prof. Nimrod Maimon, Head of Internal Medicine at Soroka, and Prof. Viktor Novak, Head of the Hat Department of Internal Medicine and the head of the Department of Research, Development and Innovation of the Soroka hospital, who introduced the engineers to the routine work of internal departments and cooperation between departments, laboratories and the operating system.
The participants were impressed by the many lectures on innovation, initiatives, integration research and industry, as well as the challenges of digital healthcare solutions.
As part of the second round of the program, the Medical Center “Soroka” received healthcare engineers from start-up companies, representatives of the Ministry of Health, employees of pharmaceutical companies and technology leaders from international companies. before the participants, an analysis of the hard work of emergency teams and work processes that have been introduced in recent years and made the emergency department of the Soroka hospital leading in the country.
