At the end of February, the broadcasting schedules of the main Russian channels underwent significant changes. Almost all entertainment and educational programs – from the “Field of Miracles” to “Live great!” disappeared, and their place was filled with information and political programs.
Many TV stars immediately went abroad: explaining their departure as forced or vice versa – long-planned vacation. Among them was Ivan Urgant, who has an Israeli passport. He was followed by a lot of curses from those who considered the celebrity a traitor.
But just yesterday, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov called the TV presenter a great patriot and urged not to recklessly write down in the “fifth column”. to everyone who got scared and left the country with the start of the war in Ukraine: “They are not enemies of the state.”
And Ksenia Sobchak, in turn, hinted that she knew something about continuation of the career of Ivan Urgant on Channel One. The evening show should be back on the air, though with some changes.
“He negotiated with Konstantin Ernst. It seems that, according to rumors, they promise to resume the program, but in some other format,” Sobchak said.
This means that the TV show, beloved by many, has not been completely closed, but only gone on a sabbatical. Ksenia Anatolyevna announced this news on the air of her show “Beware, Sobchak!” Well, let's see how true her information turns out to be and what will be the fate of other Russian TV entertainment programs.
