The Jerusalem District Court convicted four participants in the infamous “wedding of hate”; in 2015, during which they were filmed celebrating the killing of a Palestinian child.
Four men, who were minors at the time of the incident, were convicted of inciting violence. They joined the fiancé and several others who were convicted last year.
Thus, the court overturned the previous acquittal of the four men, finding that they knew that the photographs displayed at the wedding belonged to the Dawabshe family, who were killed in the village of Duma, and understood that their actions can lead to violence.
A lawyer for one of the defendants called this court decision absurd, but did not say whether it would be appealed.
