'We will not give up Al-Aqsa': protest in Umm al-Fahm ends with arrests

On Friday evening, hundreds of people demonstrated in Umm al-Fahm in solidarity with the Palestinians who had previously been arrested for rioting on the Temple Mount.

According to The Jerusalem Post, seven people were arrested, including three minors. It is noted that the demonstrators blocked the entrance to Umm al-Fahm.

” We will sacrifice our lives for al-Aqsa, we will not give up al-Aqsa,” the protesters shouted.

Demonstrators were reported to have thrown stones and set tires on fire in the area. The Israeli security forces used a means of dispersing the crowd.

In addition, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the security forces in the village of Al-Arub, north of Hebron.

It is worth noting that The riots in Jerusalem raised concerns in the United States, where they called for “maintaining the status quo of the Temple Mount.”
