VR games can slow down the development of dementia

VR games can slow down the development and progression of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, according to scientists.

In 2021, more than 600 people took part in studying the impact of VR gaming during the pandemic.

“Giving the public the means to engage in VR activities to keep them busy and fit could be a promising strategy for minimizing the decline in mental and physical well-being that has been reported in many cases since the start of the pandemic,” – according to the study.

The study included 15 tests. It is noted that out of 12 tests that focused on physiological results, 8 showed positive results, and out of 4 tests focused on psychological results, 3 showed a positive trend.

Virtual games will help relieve stress and depression.
