Volkswagen will no longer produce Passat sedans
Volkswagen has discontinued production of the popular Passat B8 sedan for the UK market. The manufacturer decided to abandon the popular 4-door model due to the increasing sales of the station wagon.
The ratio of station wagon to sedan sales in the UK is now 2: 1. According to statistics, the sedan is in great demand among corporate clients with a large fleet of vehicles, while private consumers prefer to purchase a station wagon.
