Video: US military testing robot dog at California base

The US military is testing robotic dogs developed by Ghost Robotics.

The corresponding video was released by Sky News.

These robots are expected to serve as security guards for the 144th Fighter Wing in California.

If successful, the robots can be used to patrol bases and raise an alarm.

The four-legged robot is equipped with a custom-made rifle that includes a 30x optical system, a thermal imaging camera target in the dark and has an effective range of 1200 meters.
