With 28 players competing for a first game of college football career, the Cougars of the Cégep de Chicoutimi have a few missteps, on the synthetic field of the UNIVERSITY, on Saturday afternoon, but not enough to prevent them from signing a victory in their launch of the season. They have conquered the Gauls of The Goal by a score of 37-15.
Regionals were never truly troubled by their opponents during the meeting. In fact, they are rather learned in the foot more than once.
“The team that has given us the most misery, these are the Cougars, has imaged the head coach of the Cougars, Nicolas Menachi. It has worked against us the whole game, in addition to scoop to approximately 250-yard penalty. We saw beautiful things, for example. We are proud, but not necessarily satisfied. We must, however, work hard to correct our mistakes and avoid penalties. Our recruits have responded well and we are proud of them. The grading will be very tight this season and for a first game, it is a beautiful preparation for the next.”
The second game of the Cougars will take place on Friday evening next, on the synthetic field of the UNIVERSITY, this time against the Fellows of the Cégep de Jonquière.
“It’ll have to be ready for, because our mistakes beginners committed today will cost us points next week against Jonquière,” warned Nicolas Menachi.
The Gauls have tried by all means to curb the attack of the Cougars.
