US successfully launches prototype hypersonic missile

The United States has successfully launched a prototype hypersonic air-to-ground missile, according to a Pentagon press release.
According to it, the AGM-183 ARRW missile launched from aboard a B-52H strategic bomber and while flying over the Pacific Ocean off the California coast of the United States reached a speed of Mach 5.
