The US Embassy in Iraq underwent rocket fire

On Saturday, December 18, the United States Embassy in Baghdad, located in the Green Zone, came under fire.

According to Fox News, one missile was intercepted by the C-RAM system, the second did not reach the territory of the diplomatic establishment.

According to the source, both missiles exploded north of the Union III base & ndash; the headquarters of the US-led coalition and the Iraqi government forces opposing the terrorist organization ISIS. No casualties were reported.

The missile that flew past the embassy landed near the square next to the Green Zone and damaged two civilian vehicles. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the rocket attack.
