US calls for an end to violence in Judea and Samaria

The United States called on Israelis and Palestinians to stop the escalation of violence in Judea and Samaria. The corresponding statement was made by State Department spokesman Ned Price, commenting on the death of four Palestinians in a shootout with the IDF. “We are deeply concerned about the deteriorating security situation. We call on both sides to contain the violence. The United States and other international partners are ready to help, but we cannot replace the vital actions of the parties themselves to mitigate the conflict and restore calm,” — Price said. According to him, 2022 has become a deadly year for Palestinians in Judea and Samaria. More than 81 Palestinians have been killed, according to UN statistics. “We call on all parties to do everything in their power to de-escalate and return to calm. This is in the interests of all Israelis and Palestinians,” Price stressed.
