US arrested suspect in the assassination of Haitian president
US authorities have arrested Colombian Mario Palacios, suspected of assassinating Haitian President Jovenel Moise.
This is reported by Reuters, citing a US law enforcement official.
It is known that Palacios is a former military man. According to the Haitian authorities, he was among the group of mercenaries who attacked Moise.
The suspect will appear in court on Tuesday.
