 Unusual mummies found in Scotland

Archaeologists have discovered two mummies estimated to be 3,000 years old in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

According to IFLScience, their peculiarity was that they were in the fetal position.

Moreover, DNA analysis showed that the two mummies were the bodies of six different people at once, who had no family ties. According to scientists, the bodies were stored in a peat bog for a long time, after which they were moved for burial.

Further analysis showed other features of these mummies. The man had all his teeth in his lower jaw and none in his upper jaw. =”0″ height=”250″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/oYepc1B8ATo” title=”YouTube video player” width=”445″>
