UN: Tehran refuses to release bodies of dead demonstrators

< p>

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is concerned about the Iranian authorities' treatment of detained protesters. It is reported by Reuters. It is clarified that Tehran refuses to hand over the bodies of some of those killed during the protests to their families, and if they do, then only on the condition that the relatives do not communicate with the media and hold a public funeral. Protests in the country are raging for the second month after the death of Mahsa Amini, who was detained by the vice police because of the wrong decision to wear a hijab. The IRGC, police and other security forces are involved in the bloody crackdown on demonstrations.
