UN Security Council demands immediate investigation into journalist's murder

The UN Security Council has called for an immediate and impartial investigation into the death of Al Jazeera journalist Shirin Abu Akle in Jenin. According to diplomats, the Security Council unanimously condemned the murder of a woman. “A thorough, transparent and impartial investigation must be carried out immediately,” – said in a statement.
