UN employee condemned Islamic Jihad and lost her job

The UN fired Sarah Muscroft, the head of one of the organization's offices serving the Palestinians.

According to the Times of Israel, Muscroft was fired after she condemned Islamic Jihad terrorists in a post on social media.

“I'm glad to see that the ceasefire agreement has ended the fighting affecting both Palestinians and Israeli civilians. provoking an Israeli retaliatory strike is condemned. The safety of all civilians is of paramount importance – the ceasefire must be respected,” she wrote. She deleted the post, issued an apology, and later closed her Twitter account.

The UN said that Sarah Muscroft would be appointed to a new post. It is not clear if she will remain in East Jerusalem.
