The UN called the killings of Palestinian children

UN High Representative for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet condemned the killing of Palestinian children during the fighting between Israel and Islamic Jihad. She demanded that those responsible be held accountable. “Harming any child during a conflict is a matter of deep concern. Killing and maiming so many children this year — shamelessly,” she said. Bachelet noted that Palestinian terrorist organizations, in violation of international humanitarian law, fired hundreds of rockets, causing civilian casualties and damage to civilian facilities in both Israel and Gaza. According to her office, 19 Palestinian children have been killed in recent clashes, bringing the total number of juvenile casualties to 37 this year. 17 children were killed during fighting in Gaza from Aug. during IDF operations in Judea and Samaria.
