UN appeals to Taliban over kidnapped human rights activists

The UN called on the Taliban, who seized power in Afghanistan, to provide information about the human rights activists abducted in Kabul.

This is stated in the official statement of the UNAMA mission.

“The UN shares its growing concern over the disappearance of two Afghan activists, Tamana Zaryabi Paryani and Paravana Ibrahimkhel, who were reportedly abducted from their homes on Wednesday night. We call on the Taliban to provide information on their whereabouts and protect the rights of all Afghans,” the statement said. /embed]
