Real wages grew by 11%.
Average nominal wages in Ukraine in April totaled UAH 269 10, which is 0.3% more than in March and by 21.1% in annual terms. This is evidenced by the State statistics service (state statistics), reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to liga.net.
Real wages in April compared to March decreased by 0.8%, compared with April last year increased by 11.2%.
The largest increase in average wages of full-time employees in April was observed in Dnipropetrovsk (24,9%), Kyiv (24,6%), Ternopil (24,5%), Chernihiv (23,2%), Kharkiv (22,1%), Rivne (21,6%), Donetsk (21,6%), Poltava (21,5%), Cherkasy (21,3%), Volyn (21,1%) regions and Kyiv (20.7 per cent).
The highest salary level in April was recorded in Kyiv (UAH 15 876), the lowest — in Kherson region (UAH 7695).
Data are presented excluding the temporarily occupied by Russia Crimea and part of Donbass.
