Uganda has confirmed seven cases of Ebola, including a man who died this week.

The deceased 24-year-old man developed a high fever, diarrhea and abdominal pain, and vomited blood. After initial treatment for malaria, he was diagnosed with the Sudanese strain of the Ebola virus.
According to Köbe Henry Bbos, Uganda Ministry of Health official responsible for eradicating Ebola is investigating 7 more deaths that may be related to the disease.
“To date, we have seven confirmed cases, of which we have one confirmed death “But we also have seven probable cases that died before the outbreak was confirmed,” he said.
