U.S. approves Omicron vaccine for children under 5

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the updated COVID-19 vaccines for children under 5 years of age. It is reported by the Associated Press. Previously, Moderna and Pfizer's Omicron vaccines were available for people over 5 years of age. Now, the FDA has approved vaccination at six months of age for children who received two doses of the original vaccine. It is clarified that in the United States, only about 5% of children under the age of 5 years have received a full primary vaccination.
