 Two residents of northern Israel tried to join ISIS

Residents of Umm al-Fahm, Muhammad Aghbariya and Abdel al-Mahdi, are accused of conspiring to commit a crime and attempting to join ISIS in Africa.

Reported by Israel hayom" with reference to the District Prosecutor's Office of Haifa.

According to the investigation, two residents of Umm al-Fahm contacted ISIS activists in order to join the organization. Among other things, the defendants were looking for a contact person who could help them get to Africa, where they would join ISIS.

The prosecutor's office asks that the defendants remain in custody until the end of the proceedings.
