Two Israelis snuck into business class and disrupted the flight

A United Airlines flight from New York to Israel was forced to return to the US on Friday morning after two Israeli passengers caused a stir.

As reported The Jerusalem Post, the incident began with Israelis being asked to show their tickets.

According to Roy Lotan, an eyewitness to the incident, an hour and a half after departure, flight attendants approached two Israeli passengers sitting in business class. They asked for tickets to make sure the passengers were eligible for business class seats.

Both passengers showed no tickets. Instead, according to the witness, a “riot” broke out.

The plane was eventually turned around and the passengers were dropped off the flight.

According to Roy Lotan, this situation could have happened because the flight was half empty due to the pandemic. The Israelis could take advantage of the situation and transfer to business class from economy class.
