Two Iranian teenagers face the death penalty

In Iran, two teenagers face the death penalty for participating in large-scale protests.

According to the AFP, they were sentenced to hang for participating in demonstrations against the regime.

According to human rights activists, 18-year-old Mehdi Mohammadifard received one death sentence for setting fire to a traffic police kiosk in the city of Nowshahr, and the second for “enmity against Allah.”

According to the director of the IHR human rights group, Mahmoud Amiri-Moghaddam, Mohammadifard was the youngest person to be sentenced to death for participating in the protests.

According to Mizan Online, another teenager, Mohammad Borogani, was upheld in December by the Supreme Court.< /p> Follow us on Telegram
