Today, as part of the Ukraine Street campaign, as a sign of solidarity with Ukraine, about 20 streets and squares in 14 countries of the world have been renamed or named after our country. These are the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Albania, Slovakia, Norway, Canada, Hungary, Estonia, Sweden, France, Iceland, Luxembourg, USA, — informed in the Foreign Ministry.
It is noted that in six countries (Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Albania, Norway, Canada) “Ukrainian” The names were given to the streets and squares where Russian diplomatic missions are located.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also notes that by the Independence Day of Ukraine, there were two more such names in the world at once: in Luxembourg, “Kyiv Boulevard” appeared, and in New York, the intersection of Brighton Beach Avenue and Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn was renamed the “Ukrainian Way”.
