Thousands of users were unable to access Twitter on Wednesday.
More than 4,500 users in the United States reported problems accessing the social network, according to Downdetector. The site monitors crashes, including error messages submitted by users on its platform.
Twitter did not respond to a Reuters request for comment. But the social network's status page showed that everything was working.
