Turkish Antimonopoly Committee Fines Elon Musk for Twitter Takeover

The Turkish Competition Council announced on Monday, March 6, that it had decided to fine billionaire Elon Musk 0.1% of the gross Twitter's 2022 revenue in Turkey as it did not receive approval from the board to proceed with the takeover, Reuters reported.
The board said in a statement that the decision is subject to legal challenge.
