Turkey earthquake death toll rises to 18,342

The death toll from devastating earthquakes in Turkey this week rose to 18,342 and the number of people injured rose to 74,242, the country's Emergency and Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) said on Friday.
It states that 75,780 earthquake victims were evacuated from the earthquake zone in southern Turkey and that more than 121,000 people were involved in rescue operations.
He added that 1,509 underground shocks.
