Fire in a tunnel in northern Israel: workers rescued from a trap

In the afternoon, on December 13, a fire broke out in a tunnel at a pumped storage power plant, which is located near the Belvoir fortress.

Four fire brigades.

About 30 people were trapped because of the smoke. Fire and rescue personnel went to their rescue.


Police later reported that all workers had made it safely out into the fresh air. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The fire was also extinguished.
