Tragedy on Mount Meron: the bridge was demolished, where 45 people died in a crush

In the morning, January 10, the bridge on Mount Meron was demolished, where 45 people died in a crush.

This was reported by Arutz Sheva.

This happened after a meeting of the government commission to investigate the tragedy on Mount Meron, which occurred during the celebration of Lag ba-Omer.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Religious Affairs Matan Kahana (Yamina), who appointed a coordinator who will lead all matters on the occasion of the Lag BaOmer holiday, retired police major general Zvi Tesler.

Kahana instructed to advance the development of the plan for the upcoming event. Tesler will coordinate the actions of all structures associated with the events on Mount Meron in order to avoid a repeat of the tragedy that occurred last year.
