Three IDF soldiers suspended after beating Palestinians

Three soldiers were suspended from service after it became known that they had beaten Palestinians. A video of them beating Palestinians has also surfaced.

The video shows soldiers pushing Palestinians to the ground and repeatedly kicking them in the face as they lie on the ground, reports the Jerusalem Post.

An investigation was launched following the incident, and initial findings indicated that the soldiers marked a vehicle they considered “suspicious” and allegedly used unnecessary violence on the driver and passenger.

Chief IDF headquarters Aviv Kochavi reacted to the situation: “This is a serious and disgusting incident that seriously violates the values of the IDF. The soldiers involved are unworthy of service. The incident will be fully investigated by the commanders and the military police. Those involved will be held accountable.”

According to Israeli TV Channel 13, the suspended soldiers served in the Netzach Yehuda Battalion.
