Thousands of people protest in the capital of Peru: a historic building is set on fire

Thousands of protesters gathered in the Peruvian capital, Lima, on Thursday, angered by the rising death toll since unrest began last month and calling for sweeping change.
Police estimated the march at 3,500 people , but independent sources estimate that at least twice as many people turned up.
In some streets, police in riot gear clashed with stone-throwing protesters, and a historic building in the historic city center caught fire.
