A heat wave has killed thousands of cows in the United States, according to Kansas authorities.
“The Department of Health and the Environment Kansas environment, at least 2,000 cattle deaths are known to have occurred in southwestern Kansas,” — Matt Lara, Director of Communications at the Ministry, said.
High temperatures make it difficult for cows to maintain a safe body temperature.
