They didn't stop the attack. Two residents of Umm al-Fahm face charges
On Friday, the prosecutor's office filed charges against two residents of Umm al-Fahm – brothers Hasan Mahajn and Muhammad Hasan Mahajn – that they prevented a terrorist attack in Hadera, which resulted in the death of two MAHAWA officers.
The Times of Israel reports.
According to the indictment, the Mahajne brothers had known the terrorists for years prior to the attack. They attended meetings at Agbariya's house, where the “Islamic State” was praised.
At the same time, Hassan Mahajna acted as an intermediary in purchasing cartridges for one of the terrorists. His brother Muhammad Hasan Mahajna told him to stay away from Ayman Aghbariya, as he was preparing for an imminent attack. But Hasan did not listen, and Muhammad Gasan, knowing that the attack was being prepared, did not report it.
Muhammad Gassan Mahajna was charged with not preventing the attack. Hasan is also accused of assisting terrorists.
