Association of Chinese aviation industry said the plane passed technical certification in Zhuhai, South China’s Guangdong province. The evaluation experts concluded that the plane can make its first flight.
The amphibious aircraft AG600 can be used to rescue people at sea, extinguishing forest fires, monitoring of the marine environment and its conservation. He is able to collect 12 tons of water in 20 seconds and carry up to 370 tons of water on a single tank of fuel.
The developer said earlier this year that he had received the order directly on 17 aircraft AG600.
