The WHO told how many countries of the world Omicron was detected

A new strain of Omicron coronavirus, first detected in South Africa, has already been identified in 38 countries.

According to The Guardian, such a statement was made by the technical director of the World Health Organization for coronavirus, Maria van Kerkhove.

“ There are reports of the Omicron strain in 38 countries in all six WHO regions '', & ndash; she said.

There are currently no deaths from the new South African strain.
