U.S. Central Command announced the completion of a large-scale military exercise with the Israeli military, which was called Juniper Oak 2023.
About 6,400 American military personnel and more than 1,500 Israeli .
More than 140 aircraft, 12 ships and artillery were also involved, making it the largest joint exercise between the two countries in history.
CENTCOM noted that these activities have increased interoperability and the ability of the US military to rapidly deploy forces to the region.
“The partnership between CENTCOM and the Israel Defense Forces has been strengthened and continues to grow. Our partnership is a key element of our commitment to enhancing regional security cooperation,” — stressed the commander of CENTCOM, General Michael Kurilla.
