The temperature on board the Russian Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft after a leak from the thermal control system, it could reach 70 degrees Celsius.
According to RBC, this opinion was expressed by Vladimir Solovyov, head of the ISS Russian segment flight, general designer for manned complexes and systems.
“The rise in temperature, when we calculated it, turned out to be catastrophic. Very quickly we approached temperatures of 60-70 degrees, & mdash; he said.
According to Solovyov, not to mention the crew, neither the devices nor the computers were adapted to such high temperatures, since the microcircuits begin to “fly out”; already at 40-50 degrees.
