The release of a new film based on Stephen King's novel “Salem's Lot” has been rescheduled from September 9, 2022 to April 21, 2023.
According to Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, this decision was made in connection with the difficulties that arose during the post-production of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film tells the story of a writer who returns to his hometown and learns that in people disappear without a trace. Over time, it turns out that vampires have settled in the town.
The main role in the film went to Lewis Pullman (“Top Gun: Maverick”). By the way, earlier he promised that “Salem's Lot” will return to the cinema "scary vampires".
