The stability of the popularity of the two heads of the executive can be explained by an evolution of their supports, which increase in right-wing supporters, but lower among those on the left.

No personality is needed to embody the opposition, according to a barometer policy Viavoice-Release published on Monday. The popularity ratings of Emmanuel Macron (40 %) and Edouard Philippe (40 %) are, they, stabilised since September. Invited to say if they had “rather good” or “rather poor” opinion of the head of the State, 40 % of the respondents have responded that they have ” a good opinion “, two percentage points more than in September, but thirteen fewer than in June.
40% of respondents also indicated that they had “a rather good” opinion of the Prime minister, as of September. The apparent stability of the popularity of the two heads of the executive can be explained by an evolution of their supports, which increase in right-wing supporters, but lower among those on the left. Thus, only 29 % believe that it intends to ” pursue a policy of right and left “, while almost half feels that he ” wishes above all to give priority to certain social categories to the detriment of other categories “. Two-thirds are already “losers” of the reforms.
Nicolas Hulot acclaimed
Only Nicolas Hulot, minister of the ecological Transition and ex-presenter of the program Ushuaia, more than 50 % of favourable opinions, while seven ministers still remain unknown to nearly half of the French (the minister for the Armed forces Florence Parly, the minister of Health, Agnes Buzyn, the keeper of the Seals Nicole Belloubet, the minister of higher Education, Frédérique Vidal, the secretary of State for the Digital Mounir Mahjoubi, the minister of Agriculture, Stéphane Travert, and the minister of the overseas Annick Girardin).
Despite the dissatisfaction of the respondents, which, for 72 % (all job categories combined), consider the system of redistribution is unfair, and think to 66 %, the French the most affluent should pay more income tax, no leader stands out above the others in the opposition, says the firm survey. All supporters confused, Alain Juppé is the politician’s favorite of the opposition (47 %), even though it claims to concentrate on the city hall of Bordeaux, note Viavoice. François Bayrou, president of MoDem, and Xavier Bertrand, president RL of the Hauts-de-France, get all two 30 % of favourable opinions.
17 % for Wauquiez
Laurent Wauquiez, the favourite for the presidency of the party of the Republicans, only collects 17 % of good opinions (- 3). Marine Le Pen gets 21 % (- 3). Her niece, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, for the time withdrawn from political life, is ahead with 24 %. To the left, Jean-Luc Mélenchon harvest 29 % (- 3), in front of Benoît Hamon (26 %). “None of the ex-presidents only for the benefit of their withdrawal from political life “, analyse the sounders, with Nicolas Sarkozy at 26 % and Francois Hollande to 23 %.
This survey was conducted online from a sample of 1,002 people representative of the French population aged 18 years and older, between 31 October and 2 November, with a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.
