Police conducted new raids on European Parliament offices

On Monday, the Belgian police carried out new raids on the offices of the European Parliament after allegations of corruption against the Vice-President of the Parliament of the European Union, Eva Kylie.

The raids were carried out to seize computer data belonging to 10 parliamentary aides, the Associated Press reported.

Officers carried out a total of 20 raids as part of an investigation launched four months ago.

Eva Kylie was previously suspended from duty. According to the press, the country that offered money or gifts to parliamentarians in exchange for political favors is Qatar.
